Vanessa Schneider interviews Delphine Horvilleur

Delphine Horvilleur was a member of the scientific committee for our inaugural exhibition Sur les chemins du paradis en 2021. We catch up with her for an interview with Vanessa Schneider.

Born in Nancy in 1974, Delphine Horvilleur moved to Jerusalem at the age of 18, where she began studying medicine at the Hebrew University. On her return to France, she turned to journalism and, in 2000, joined the Near East desk of France 2's Jerusalem newsroom. She then studied at the rabbinical seminary of Hebrew Union College in New York and was ordained rabbi in 2008. She is a member of Judaïsme en mouvement, runs the online media TENOUA and hosts the Ateliers Tenoua, which brings together some 300 people every month in Paris. Her books include Comment ça va pas? Conversations après le 7 octobre (Grasset, 2024), Il n'y a pas de Ajar (Grasset, 2022), Vivre avec nos morts (Grasset, 2021) and Réflexion sur la question antisémite (Grasset, 2019).
