The Loop
Following the success of No Limit (nominated for the Molières 2023), Robin Goupil returns with his new comedy, The Loop. A hilarious theatrical experience at the heart of a police investigation as absurd as it is crazy.
Mayor Mitchel doesn't have a cat, but his son Mike is accused of murder. And Mike may be as smart as a buffalo, but all the evidence is against him. Defended by the family's crooked lawyer, will he survive the repeated assaults of Douglas and Carrie, two incorruptible cops determined to bring him down?"
In this ingenious three-act comedy, the same interrogation scene is replayed three times, each variation leading to hilarious consequences. Robin Goupil brilliantly exploits chaos theory, creating a delirious storm of plot twists and narrative surprises that keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
A fine band of generous actors, who keep the laughs flowing with facetious puns and grimaces. So much so that by the end of the show, the audience is laughing out loud... Télérama
