Jean-François Spricigo

For this latest edition of the Planches Contact Festival, photographer Jean-François Spricigo invites you to an intimate experience. The stage becomes a workshop, where the artist works with the spectator, who becomes a witness or model, to create his own photo portrait.

The experience places the audience at the heart of the process. While some volunteers pose under the artist's lens, others observe. This sequence allows everyone to take part in the story and the questions raised by photography, the relationship to the image and to one's own reflection.

With a particular focus on the encounter between people, Jean-François Spricigo continues with à nos visages s'abandonner, a project combining photography, video, writing and poetry to consider - without staring any further - the porous boundaries of identity, and to dare an ode to our pluralities.
