Contemporary Brazilian photography
Denise Zanet of Initial LABO, with the support of curators Marly Porto and Ioana De Mello and Espace Krajcberg, presents a showcase for photography through contemporary Brazilian creation in all its forms, in the company of multidisciplinary artists and photographers.
Two hours rich in discovery and exchange, punctuated by a variety of formats including the performance La tête et tout le reste, combining dance and photography, and the presentation of the sponsorship program Un fonds photographique brésilien à la BnF. These initial exchanges will be followed by a talk by photographers Livia Melzi and Fernanda Liberti on their exploration of the Tupinamba cloak, which is also part of the collection. Finally, the evening concludes with the screening of two short films proposed by Espace Krajcberg: one on Frans Krajcberg's ecological commitment and the other Interior da terra by Bianca Dacosta.
