Alive!
When theater inspires commitment to a better future. Through her poetic approach, Corinne Réquéna tackles the crucial issue of the climate crisis, offering young people the bright prospect of reconnecting with nature.
In the world of Nil and Griotte, the heat is oppressive, the sun pitiless, and nature almost obliterated. The neighborhood's last tree, a precious vestige of the past, lies sheltered in a carefully locked greenhouse. The arrival of Ursula, a vibrant and audacious character, turns their daily lives upside down. With her boundless energy, she broadens the two children's limited view of their environment, awakening in them a new sensitivity to nature. Ursula opens the way to horizons full of promise and greenery, inviting them to venture out with hope.
Corinne Réquéna takes a poetic approach to the climate crisis. From a bare stage, three child demiurges rebirth nature and its luxuriance. A beautiful visual and sound transformation. - Françoise Sabatier-Morel
