L'Univers Spectacle celebrates 100 years of Les Planches!
Inaugurated in July 1924, the famous Planches de Deauville, inspired by the promenade decks of ocean liners, have since become an emblematic promenade, revealing the landscape and becoming a meeting place and social hub.
To mark this anniversary, Les Franciscaines has selected several works from its collections depicting Les Planches. In the footsteps of legends such as Joséphine Baker, Brigitte Bardot and Louis de Funès, Les Planches has been the stage for a thousand stories.
Come and discover these images in the Univers spectacle des Franciscaines, as a prelude to the celebrations culminating on July 6.
