All in chorus
Since 1912, Deauville has had a special place for song. Many singers, composers and authors have performed here, from Mistinguett and Juliette Gréco to Pierre Delanoë and Eddy Marnay, for whom Les Franciscaines has a remarkable collection of original documents.
To pay tribute to this history and celebrate our 5th anniversary in song, four local choirs are opening their choirs to share the joy of singing together.
From Wednesday to Saturday, join the choir that interests you. Introduce yourself to singing, learn to place your voice and sing in harmony or polyphony to a repertoire that changes from day to day. Then, once you've practiced, perform in public with the choir of your choice in the Cloister. On Saturday, as a prelude to Nicolas Ullmann's Giant Karaoke, all the choirs join forces to form a vibrant choir and sing the songs they've learned in unison.
Choral workshop (10:30am > 12:30pm & 2pm > 3pm) free with reservation.
Concert (4pm) free with reservation.
Reservations on site at the Franciscaines reception, and online from June 1.
