Gabi Hartmann
Revealed as one of the great voices of today's jazz scene, Gabi Hartmann follows in the footsteps of Norah Jones and Melody Gardot.
Melody Gardot. Singer, songwriter and composer, she fashions a singular universe where jazz, soul and world music meet,
carried by a gentle, melancholy voice that blurs the boundaries between styles.
Her eponymous debut album, released in 2023, received critical acclaim, racking up over 20 million listens. On stage, she has performed at the biggest festivals, from Jazz à Vienne to the Francofolies and the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal. She collaborates with major figures on the jazz scene: Jesse Harris, Julian Lage, Laurent Bardainne, as well as Éric Truffaz and Naïssam Jalal.
Winner of the Japan Golden Disk Award for New International Artist and nominated for the Prix Joséphine in France 2025, Gabi has now confirmed her status as a revelation.
With La femme aux yeux de sel, her second album released on March 21, 2025, she weaves a spellbinding fable around Salinda, the heroine of an imaginary island guided by her salt tears. Gabi Hartmann continues her poetic exploration, creating a dreamlike universe where influences and eras intersect, to offer a deeply personal and universal work.
