The 60th Anniversary of the Deauville Swimming Pool
For the occasion, this iconic landmark of the city is being showcased in a new light thanks to a unique lighting display that highlights the architecture designed by Roger Taillibert.
For three days, from July 23 to 25, 2026, visitors of all ages are invited to rediscover this iconic venue through a festive and free program of events.
Highlights include: behind-the-scenes tours of the technical facilities, a lecture on the venue’s history and architecture, family-friendly water fun, aquatic activities, festive aqua aerobics, introductory diving sessions, mini-triathlon workshops, and numerous activities organized in partnership with the pool’s long-standing partner organizations.
This celebration is also an opportunity to look back on the history of this seawater pool, which opened in 1966 and has become one of the symbols of Deauville’s architectural heritage.
