Attend the unveiling of a work by painter Kees Van Dongen
On Saturday November 30 at 5pm, Philippe Augier, Mayor of Deauville and President of the Franciscaines, will unveil a preview of a unique work by the famous Dutch painter Kees Van Dongen in the Univers Cheval des Franciscaines.
After a memorable summer exhibition devoted to him in 2022, Van Dongen: Deauville fits me like a gloveLes Franciscaines welcomes the Ville de Deauville's acquisition of one of his paintings, thanks to the invaluable support of two patrons: Pierre Le Corre, CEO of SAS Diser, and Guy Nafilyan.
With what appears to be a silhouette, this mysterious work of art, meticulously restored at the Franciscaines, is finally ready to come back into the light and join the collections of the Franciscaines and the City of Deauville.
This important event will follow the "L'équitation à la française" meeting with Guillaume Henry & Marine Oussedik at 4pm on the same day.
