7th edition of Time for the Ocean
Join us from September 8 to 9, 2023 for the 7th edition of the 24Hours for the Ocean Festival organized by the Time for the Ocean association at Les Franciscaines de Deauville on the theme "Mission Corail".
This year, artists, scientists and enthusiasts will unite around a single cause: the protection of the ocean on the theme of "Mission Corail", in partnership with the Tara Ocean Foundation and UNESCO. Because protecting the oceans means above all raising awareness and passing on information, the association Time for the Ocean is inviting the public and schoolchildren to a series of major events involving artists and scientists to discuss environmental issues and trends in the face of the climate emergency.
On the program: a moment of exchange and discovery around the documentary film SEA ART about the artist Jérémy Gobé, directed by Maud Baignières, in the presence of the artist, and the exceptional intervention of Dr. Fanny Douvere, Coordinator of the World Heritage Marine Program, UNESCO.
