On the theme of the history of black American music, the show "Chicago to New Orleans", imagined by Kathy Boyé & Vocal Colors, is a "Journey to the Roots of Gospel Music until today".

From the gospel songs of the cotton mill to the present day, from the shout of the work songs, through the most beautiful songs of Muddy Waters, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Blues Brothers... to Sister Act, Jamiroquai or Alicia Keys to name but a few... It's a clever cocktail of the greatest cult songs in the history of Black American music, and of those who have inspired it, in unique arrangements Supported by a band of musicians, fond of gospel, jazz, soul and blues, who bring groove, energy and a lot of richness to the formation.
