The dance of Doris

From Friday 9 to Sunday 11 April 2021 , Ambra Senatore, a contemporary dancer, is at les Franciscaines!

This is an opportunity to talk about dance, and in particular about Doris Humphrey, a pioneer dancer of 20th century modern dance, as well as Isadora Duncan who came to Deauville. In the book "La danse de Doris" (published by Editions Les Grandes Personnes), author Marie Poirier introduces us to the world of Doris.

Inspired by the work of these dancers, have fun staging and reproducing dance postures in a group. Bring a photo of your choreographic creations as a souvenir!
