The Nutcracker and the Mouse King

Of all the presents she finds at the foot of the Christmas tree, there's one that particularly appeals to little Marie: the Nutcracker! A little wooden puppet with a kind look and red cheeks that her godfather Drosselmeyer had made especially for her. Unfortunately, her brother breaks it immediately.

When the clock strikes midnight, Marie hears strange noises in the cupboard where she has put her poor injured Nutcracker and all the toys they got for Christmas... There, before her childish eyes, the little world of toys threatened by the scary Mouse King awakens...
