Lux Tour
For one weekend, the Planches Contact Festival hosts the LUX Tour, a traveling film photography studio that crisscrosses France to meet with audiences. Through a one-of-a-kind participatory experience, people of all ages are invited to discover the magic of the photo lab while creating their own very personal image.
The van will offer visitors a unique experience through the “À l’Origine du Coeur” project led by the Trigone Collective. The setup allows participants to take a photograph based on their heartbeat. Visitors are invited to enter the darkroom to trigger, using a process that captures heart rate, a photo with their heart. Once developed, the prints are digitized and then printed to be given to visitors. Each print is unique and represents a heartbeat at that precise moment in their lives.

A project led by the Lux Network and recognized by the Ministry of Culture as part of the Bicentennial of Photography.
