The Planches Contact Festival has given carte blanche to the Nuits Photos (LNP) festival—a member of the LUX network—for an evening dedicated to photographic film. Through a selection of about ten screened works, photography moves beyond the confines of the still image to become narrative, rhythm, or experience, blending archival footage, sound design, texts, editing, and contemporary imagery.

From family histories and collective memories to transformed landscapes, quests for identity, and poetic manifestos, these films explore the many ways in which images transcend time and connect us to one another. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the audience, inviting viewers to reflect further on the works and exchange ideas about perspectives, styles, and new forms of photographic creation.
