One hundred years ago, Deauville inaugurated its now legendary dance floor. To celebrate this anniversary, join us for an undisciplined ball in the effervescence of the Roaring Twenties. Dress up in your finest feathers, berets, sequins, moustaches and bibs, and let's hit the dance floor!

The Roaring Twenties are known as the "Années folles", the "golden" or "roaring" decade. The 1920s left an indelible mark on the history of modernity. Jazz, radio, cinema, the tomboy haircut, the automobile, the telephone, sports, the emergence of metropolises, the progress of industrialization: few eras have seen such a whirlwind of novelties. In the wake of the First World War, the 1920s marked a break with the past and opened a laboratory for modernity, giving young people an appetite for life ready to devour the world. For one evening, let's go back in time to the heart of the 1920s, to recapture the euphoria and carefree spirit of this golden interlude between the two world wars.

On the program, David Rolland, his dancers and The Sassy Swingers will lead you in this participatory ball, while introducing you to the dances of the era in a playful and spontaneous way: foxtrot, one-step, rumba, charleston,
shimmy... Not forgetting dances from the Dada movement, which flouted the codes of ballroom decorum. And to enhance the experience, video creations and archive images projected on large screens plunge you even further into the atmosphere of a party to be shared, uninhibited and joyful.
