Das staatliches Bauhaus 1919-1933
Initially a school of architecture and applied arts founded in 1919 in Weimar by Walter Gropius, the Bauhaus rapidly expanded into the fields of design, photography, costume and dance. Rémi Grozdoff invites you to discover this artistic movement, banned by the Nazis in 1933 as "degenerate art", which attracted a large number of avant-garde artists from all over Europe and is today considered the precursor of contemporary design.

Rendez-vous Friendciscaines?
The Friendciscaines Rendezvous are moments of encounter between you - subscribers, visitors, the curious - and us - curators, lecturers, mediators. On Tuesdays, we get together with friends in the Franciscaines' creative salons for a talk on an unexpected theme, given by a member of the Franciscaines team who is a specialist in the field. Open and convivial, a time of discovery and sharing around what brings us together: all Friendciscaines, all passionate about culture.
