The new circus sets up for the first time at Les Franciscaines
The first international festival of new circus on a regional scale, the SPRING festival gives pride of place to all encounters between the circus and other artistic disciplines (dance, theater, music, visual arts, etc.).
For five weeks, the communes and cultural venues of Normandy will join forces to carry the colors of today's circus loud and clear.
At the Franciscaines, Mélissa Von Vépy, acrobat, and Stéphan Oliva, composer and performer, invent an astonishing construction, a spectacular piano-agrès, a sort of sound vessel, which makes us sail between concert and aerial prowess.
A journey on the open sea, sometimes calm, sometimes stormy... Not to be missed !
SPRING is co-produced by the Metropole Rouen Normandie on its territory and is part of the Rouen 2028 European Capital of Culture dynamic.
