La 25e Heure Longines competition prize-giving ceremony
At noon on Sunday, October 29 in the Chapelle des Franciscaines, the jury of the Planches Contact Festival revealed the winners of the La 25e Heure Longines Photo Competition to a packed house. The competition is open to all, and takes place every year on the weekend of the time change.
The subject
Photograph Deauville during the extra hour offered by the switch to winter time, between midnight and 1am. The subject is free, as long as the photo is taken in Deauville: the competition allows everyone to give their own vision of the 25th hour.
The location
The contest kicked off on the parvis des Franciscaines at midnight last night, with a record 304 registered participants!
From 6 to ...77 years old, families and friends took to the streets in search of the best vantage point from which to express their imaginations.
All the entries were exhibited in the Franciscan Cloister over the weekend, and each participant will receive a free photo to collect from the Franciscan reception desk from Tuesday October 31.
