Franciscaines support Ukrainian culture with #DesPagesJaunesEtBleues

To mark the third anniversary of Russia's large-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Franciscaines media library is joining the national #DesPagesJaunesEtBleues campaign by including in its library a selection of Ukrainian books and authors translated into French.
This initiative, supported by the NGO Stand With Ukraine in partnership with theAssociation des Maires de France and theUkrainian Embassy in France, aims to promote Ukrainian literature and affirm the solidarity of French communes with Ukraine in the face of the erasure orchestrated by Putin, by highlighting the richness and resilience of Ukrainian literature.
France continues to support Ukraine and is committed to its cultural resistance. By honoring these literary voices, the French communes are making a strong statement that Ukraine exists, is resilient and that its culture will never fade away.
An opportunity to discover Ukrainian literary voices, both classic and contemporary. From Taras Chevtchenko to Serhiy Jadan, Lessia Oukraïnka and Viktoria Amelina, this initiative celebrates a culture that resists.
Classics, contemporary literature, history books and children's stories... there's something for everyone! Come and explore the richness of Ukrainian culture and support cultural resistance.
