André Hambourg's Grand Bestiaire unveiled

André Hambourg Museum
New exhibition at the Musée André Hambourg: The Great Bestiary

The André Hambourg Museum gets a makeover: from July 8, animals take their place in the André Hambourg Museum!

Dogs, cats, birds, chickens and even zebus from the Ivory Coast... Animals were always present in André Hambourg's life. From New York to Honfleur, via Abidjan and Deauville, the painter's many travels led him to depict animal life, whether in drawing or painting.

For the occasion, the Musée des Franciscaines will be transformed into a large ark, offering you the chance to discover this unlikely bestiary: an artistic and pictorial fauna where pets and working animals rub shoulders.

See you on Saturday, July 8!

Don't miss Guided tour of the exhibition, Fridays at 11:30 a.m. during school holidays and 2:30 p.m. during vacation periods.
And don't forget: Mon Petit Musée, an exhibition tour specially designed for children! (ages 3 to 10)
